Clip Download

When in My Albums & Clips, Admin (Full) users are now able to download clips as MP4’s and save them to their local device. To download a clip, simply click on the blue download icon in the download column in My Albums & Clips, which will then change to a clock icon whilst your clip is being prepared. When your clip is ready, the clock will change to a pink download icon and clicking this will save the clip to your local download folder.

To get the best experience replaying the MP4 clip with a media player, we recommend creating the clip in ONVU Learning using the ‘Save View Mode’ option to either dewarp the fisheye view and follow the something specific in the clip, or to dewarp the fisheye view to a specific, static view. 

Admin (Full) users can assign the clip download permission to other user roles in Administration > Manage Roles > Select a role > Album Sharing – Allow Clip Download. For more information on how to create and manage roles, please visit the Knowledge Base guide here.

Users with the Clip Download permission are also able to share a clip with another user and give the recipient the permission to download that specific clip.

All Clip Downloads are logged within Institution Reports > Audit Reports > Organization Clip Report. Clicking on the History icon for the clip will show you who downloaded the clip and when.

Please note:

Clip download is only available with a single view clip; however, downloading a clip with multiple views is coming soon.

Maintenance Window

When new firmware updates are available, you are now able to update your camera to the latest firmware instantly, ensuring you have access to the most recent features and benefits. Simply head to Administration > Device Management > Camera Settings > Maintenance Window - Update Now.
