Maintenance Window

You can now specify what day and time your cameras update with the most recent firmware, providing you with new features and maintenance updates at times that are convenient for you.

The default window for the institution is 04:00 on Wednesdays for all cameras, however, you can change this within Administration > Institution Management > Maintenance Window.

There is also a daily window for emergency updates which also defaults to 04:00. This window will only be used if necessary to resolve an issue which is preventing users from accessing the solution.

Each camera can be assigned a custom maintenance window if needed by setting it within Administration > Manage Devices > Show Camera Settings > Maintenance Window and unselecting the option to use default institution values. If the custom maintenance window is no longer needed, you can re-tick the option to use the institutions default.

Please note that maintenance windows only apply to the camera firmware, and not any software updates in the ONVU Learning application.

Manage Device page updates

The Manage Devices page is now sortable by camera status (offline/online) and by alphabetical order, along a search box should know the name of the camera you are looking for.
