User Roles are managed in the Administration section under the Manage Roles tab.
This section allows you to assign permissions to certain roles. and create new roles. Once roles have been created, they can be assigned to users under Manage Users tab.
Below is a simple guide to creating and managing user roles. There is a link to the full guide at the bottom of the page.
Creating a new Role
To create a new role, first select the permissions required for the role. Then, click the "Save As New Role" button at the bottom. Next type in the name of the role.
Now the role is created, it can be assigned to a user under the Manage Users tab,

Below is an explanation of each of the permissions that can be assign to a role
User Management
Manage Users (Organisation Admin only)
This permission allows the user to add and delete users as well as assign them roles
Manage Roles (Organisation Admin only)
This permission allows the user to create new roles and manage existing ones.
Device & Recording Management
Manage Cameras, and Recording Schedules
This permission gives the user access to the Manage Devices section. Here the user can edit the cameras name and manage the camera.
Viewing Video
View Live Video
This permission give access to the View Video section and allows the user to view live video from their cameras while on the school network.
View Live Video Remotely
This permission give access to the View Video section and allows the user to view live video when on a different network to the cameras.
View Archive Video
This permission give access to the View Video section and allows the user to view archive video when on the same network as the cameras.
Move Clips to the Cloud
This permission allows the user to move clips to the cloud and share with other users.
